Ride + Stride is the single largest source of income for many Historic Churches and allows for grants to be made to places of Christian worship.

Taking place on Saturday 13th of September the funds raised are divided between the Friends of Kent Churches and Holy Trinity Broadstairs. The church will be open throughout the day!

Join us, Holy Trinity Broadstairs needs participants! It’s called Ride & Stride because people cycle or walk. Participants can choose where to visit and where to start and finish. We even had people get on a train and the visit another area in Kent. A list of open churches can be provided. There is no minimum or maximum number of churches to be visited. Some people get sponsored per church. Usually sponsors give a round donation, £5 or £10.

Churches should be open from 10am to 6pm and Holy Trinity Broadstairs need two volunteers all of the time we open but usually people do 2 hours per shift. It is possible also to be sponsored for sitting in church.

Also, Addie who has been co-ordinating this event for both our church and the Broadstairs area for the last 7 years, will be stepping down from both roles after this year's event and is looking for someone to take over at least one of these roles.
