Faculty Application for Tea Bar

The Rector and Churchwardens are applying to the Commissary Court of the diocese for permission to create a new tea bar in the north west corner of the church.

The improved hospitality facilities would mean that it would be easier to provide refreshments for our Sunday and weekday services, our missionary outreach to both young and old and for the many events that take place throughout the year. The scheme would provide modern hygienic facilities that will be needed when these activities return later this year.

The location has been chosen as there are already plumbing and drainage connections on the other side of the west wall. The scheme has been designed by our architects, Duncan Graham and in consultation with the Diocesan Advisory Committee for church buildings.

A copy of the scheme is attached. If you would like any further details of the proposals, please contact robin_colyer@yahoo.co.uk.

If you wish to object to any of the works or proposals you should send a letter or e-mail stating the grounds of your objection to The Diocesan Registrar at:
