Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

We take very seriously the health, safety and well-being of all who visit this beautiful church. In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK we are following Government advice and that of the Church of England and closely monitoring updates and developments.

In accordance with current instructions from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, all public services are now suspended. Morning and Evening Prayer continues to be said privately in the church and we are trying to keep the church open at certain times (under review and to be announced soon) to allow for private prayer.

We have a robust cleaning regime in place and we have also made hand sanitiser gel available for visitors at the main entrance, where hand-washing facilities are also located.

Worship

Worshippers should note that all public services are currently suspended. All catering services are also currently suspended. Many events are now postponed indefinitely or cancelled. Please see our Events page for details.
